Marjorie is an Artist, Art Instructor, and Art Therapist living in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Inspired at a young age by her mother and great, great-grandmother, both talented artists, Marjorie took art classes throughout her childhood. Eventually, she earned a degree in Studio Art from Eastern Connecticut State University.
Marjorie has long been fascinated by the healing powers of artmaking in both the process and the final product. After working with elementary school-aged children with mental health and learning disabilities, Marjorie pursued a degree in Art Therapy and Counseling at The College of New Rochelle in New York.
Marjorie has 15 years of experience working in various settings, including residential treatment for adolescents, art centers, and outpatient private practice. Marjorie has introduced and developed several art therapy programs for organizations throughout the years, exposing thousands of children and adults to the healing powers of art.
Marjorie’s eclectic style of artwork frequently reflects the elements of her New England upbringing- animals, landscapes, and history. She has taught art in various capacities for over 20 years and enjoys helping others discover and grow in their creativity.
