Marguerite Helen Nocchi (she/her) is a Lansdale, PA native who attended St. Stanislaus grade school and Lansdale Catholic High School. Marguerite graduated from Duquesne University with a B.A. in English/Film Studies and received her M.F.A. in Screenwriting from Chapman University. In 2017, she worked as an Executive Producer on her and business partner’s inaugural independent feature film “Stuck on Someday” through their production company Call Me Crazy Entertainment.
Marguerite continued her work in entertainment, learning both the creative as well as the business aspect of the industry in an effort to empower future creatives on how to navigate the landscape. Marguerite has worked on short films, narrative podcasts, branded content as well as producing short form and long form documentaries. Before relocating back to the east coast to be closer to family, Marguerite ran operations for a creative agency in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
Outside of her professional career, she has always gravitated toward creative outlets as forms of healing. From cheerleading, to dancing, writing in several mediums, and supporting colleagues in their creative development, she has sought to use her voice to empower, educate, engage, and entertain. In 2022, Marguerite released her debut poetry collaboration, Western Americana: One Year Mindfulness Journal, which focuses on introducing guided mindfulness practices as a daily habit for 365 days. She is currently working on her second poetry book as well as future narrative content in several mediums including novels and screenplays.
